No bad news is good news! Idle is also sometimes ideal

Thanks to the monsoon, pollution, traffic(leading to sweat), chennai weather and my dear office colleagues that I too got the killer Cold!

As they say that well begun is half done, I never realized that the cold began well and then grew into fever. Luckily it dint gather enough courage and strength to transform into a viral fever, else I might have had to request the Doc to install Symantec Anti Virus in me ;)

Good times are never good for you. ( Read it again) You tend to become arrogant, over joyed and care least about others and even you during that period.

Its only during the bad phase of life that you really “start living” and realizing life and yearn for the pleasures of life(which you have had and missed enjoying) and end up becoming more philosophical.

Exceptions are always an exception, But I am not. I too realized that the previous week which I earlier thought was a ridiculous week with no interesting(you may skip this word) ;) work, was heaven. ( for the simple reason that I dint have cold then)

Alas, it was too late. I don’t have the time machine to rewind and enjoy the previous week.

When a simple cold could make so much difference to the thought process, I started understanding that “No bad news is indeed a good news”(subject ku vandhom la, enga vechurkaen paarunga linka) and life has to be lived every second.

As some QRST said (why always use ABC or XYZ) that your life span is the split second between your first breath and your next breath, Life has to be lived and enjoyed every second.

Now hold on, am getting sneeze….Huchhhhhhhhhh…. J Now my neighbour will start feeling that his last week was good. Old is COLD….

DST

This weekend when DST changes came into effect, I was thinking this( exactly when the time was set behind by an hr).
Would DST be accepted in India at all? Well, it may sound funny.

In Chennai, some parties may protest against it, some may plan for a hunger strike.

All the “Raaghu Kaalam”, “Yema Gandam” “Nalla neram”, “Ketta neram” etc will go for a toss.
The panjamgam has to be re-written. Pattali makkal katchi and Hindu munnani may claim that this is illegal and plan for a dharna.

Famous astrologers like “Mei Meiyappans” will start delivering lengthy lectures in prime slots to boost the TRP of some channels.

Congress party may get into another scam by crediting the MP’s salary twice during midnight and blaming the re-clock.

So many clock towers across the state would be attended to during mid night!
Multiplexes may screen a special show during the DST time change and charge double the price!!

Jokes apart, I am amazed how the Developed nations cope with this without making a big fuss of it.

It only reminds me of the saying “In the game of chess, sometimes you have to make a move backward to move forward, similarly in life !!”

They don’t mind going behind another hour to make life n work easy. Its time we too accept some logical changes and get ahead in life.

GOD and the curious human mind!

Why does the mind always have an upper hand over us? Have you ever thought about it?

If you really note down the number of things and people and scenarios and instances and events and dialogues ( and what not…) which comes into our mind every day( at least one single day), you would be amazed at the capacity of our brain.

We must really thank God for having given us this ever expandable hard disk memory which need not be formatted and which does not crash that easily and normally. Amazing…

And I guess the brain also has the power to traverse to the remotest corner of its hard disk and travel back several years( as early as the childhood days) and immediately come to the present second also.

We have the power to identify a person whom we have seen before decades in a flash and also at the same time reply an SMS parallelly!!

I bet its really beyond science and beyond imagination and beyond affordability.
Can someone price the human brain? Impossible. Its such a wonderful gift that God has given us.

Birth, death, dreams are all beyond explanation for which only God knows the answer.
I have also been fascinated by the fact that the FACE and THUMB IMPRESSION are unique for every single person on this earth!!

How can the creator still continue to create different human faces with only slightest difference in eyes, nose, mouth ? After all face is less than 1 sqft..

And still there are slight similarities within the family members and differences with all others in the world.. Wow…Just Great.

We are really like the alien creatures in the movie AVATAR, controlled by GOD. He knows when to switch on and when to switch off..
